Lunar Celebration at the LA Zoo

The LAGSCA celebrated ushering the Lunar New Year at the Zoo on February 22nd, 2026. Representatives of the Asian communities of Los Angeles gathered in the celebration at the LA Zoo.  The LAGSCA and Mr. Tony Lu, award winning designer, is the creative director who redesigned the Francois Langur Pavilion at the LA Zoo. Mr. Tony Lu and his wife Yvonne guided the LAGSCA to celebrate the Lunar New Year with the theme Ordinary Beauty-the Art of Floral Arrangement, enjoyed by Angelenos of all ages. Doris Hong lead 3 tables of educational programs and activities for the students and children who came to the celebration.
